Yes.
Safeguard, Safeguard Ultimate and Caravan warranties have an unlimited number of claims for listed covered components up to maximum limits. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording related to your warranty. Silver, Gold, Titanium and Platinum warranties have an unlimited number of claims for covered components however the total value of all claims is limited up to the purchase price of the vehicle. Please refer to your Warranty documentation for further details.

Yes, as summarised below.

Dealer issued warranties (Silver, Gold, Titanium and Platinum) are transferrable to a new owner in the event you sell the vehicle privately, providing all terms and conditions stated in your specific Warranty Contract and Terms and Conditions are met. To transfer the warranty to a new owner, download the relevant Transfer Ownership Form and forward to Presidian within seven days of the vehicle being sold. Please note a $75 transfer fee is payable. Warranties are not transferrable to another vehicle.

For general insurance warranties (Safeguard, Safeguard Ultimate and Caravan), transfers are subject to approval by the Insurer.

The Presidian-administered warranties are transferrable to a new owner if you sell the vehicle privately – provided all terms and conditions stated in your specific Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording are met. To request the transfer of the warranty to a new owner, download the relevant Transfer Ownership Form and forward to Presidian within 14 days of the vehicle or equipment being sold. Warranties are not transferrable to other vehicles or equipment.

Servicing is an important part of keeping your vehicle running smoothly and helping to reduce the risk of a breakdown. Depending on your chosen warranty, the Servicing Requirements section of the Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording for warranty insurance products or the Warranty Terms and Conditions for motor vehicle dealer issued warranties will inform you of how frequently your vehicle will need to be serviced to maintain your warranty coverage. Should servicing not be carried out in line with the applicable terms of the warranty insurance policy or the terms and conditions for dealer issued warranties, your cover may end and a claim may not be approved. Please refer to the section on Service Requirements in the Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording or in the Warranty Terms and Conditions for more information. 

A dealer issued warranty is issued by your Motor Vehicle dealer. A general insurance warranty is issued and underwritten by an insurer. Premiums, covered components and claim limits differ across different products. Your Motor Vehicle dealer will be able to share with you the Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording for insurance warranties or the Warranty Terms and Conditions for a dealer issued warranty that you may wish to consider purchasing.

Our general insurance warranty products are issued and underwritten by Virginia Surety Company Inc (Insurer) under the Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) No. 245549. Coverforce Insurance Broking Victoria Pty Limited AFSL No. 345986 (Coverforce) has a binding authority with the Insurer to act as its agent for the purpose of issuing policies.

Due to this arrangement, it is necessary for us to keep separate record of calls and enquiries that are received for these products.
